Following on from the success of Red Moon Rising, which tells the story of the first five years of the 24-7 prayer movement, Dirty Glory describes stories of transformation, from a walled city of prostitution in Mexico to the nightclubs of Ibiza, and invites people to experience the presence of God through prayer.

An autobiographical adventure story spanning four continents, describing one of the most exciting movements of the Holy Spirit in our time, Dirty Glory will inspire and equip those dissatisfied with the status quo and passionate about the possibilities for spiritual and social transformation in our time.

Biography/About the Author:
Pete Greig started a prayer meeting in 1999 which has spread unexpectedly into most church denominations and more than half the nations on earth. The 24-7 Prayer movement has sparked a number of new ministries and justice projects, plus a family of churches and new monastic communities known as Boiler Rooms.

Pete is the Team Leader at Emmaus Rd in Guildford, England, a Vice-President of the NGO Tearfund, and an Associate Tutor at St Mellitus Theological College, London. His latest book Dirty Glory won the CRT Book of the Year, 2017. He co-hosts two festivals: Wildfires and the Big Church Day Out, the UK’s largest Christian festival attracting more than 35,000 people each year.

Pete’s passions include contemporary art, Portsmouth F.C. and ‘Little Mo’, a 1964 convertible Morris Minor lovingly restored by hand.
