On October 14th Grammy nominated rock band SKILLET will release a career encompassing album, ‘Vital Signs’ to celebrate their first ever European headline tour, on Atlantic Records.

‘Vital Signs’ is exclusive to Europe only and is not meant to be a ‘Best Of ‘ nor is it by any means a ‘Greatest Hits’. The track listing was put together by the band to commemorate 10 years of recording and performing. It includes many Skillet classics and is designed to show the versatility and uniqueness of a band who over the course of the past few years have sold more than two million units in the U.S., racked up more than 150 million YouTube views and amassed a diehard following (dubbed Panheads) whose members number in the millions.

‘Vital Signs’ opens with the explosive ‘Rebirthing’, followed by mighty ‘Monster,’ which became a Skillet breakthrough single in the US, selling over 1 million copies and gaining over 76 million views on Youtube. Here is the Monster video

‘Vital Signs’ continues with numerous fan and live concert favorites and closes with a hat trick of huge songs – ‘Hero’ with over 42 million views on youtube with its hard grove and vocal tradeoff between John Cooper and Jen Ledger is followed by unbearable tension of the lacerating “Sick of It”, suddenly giving way to the ecstatic release of “Rise”

Skillet are without doubt one of the most important bands to come out of the US for a while and “Vital Signs’ is a perfect introduction to an extraordinary and important band.
