The Faith of Jesus Christ represents an attempt to grapple with one of the most perplexing problems in Pauline studies, namely that of the meaning of the phrase Pistis Christou. Is Paul speaking of our faith in Christ or of Christs own faithfulness towards God? A lot hangs on which way we answer that question.
