Payments from our Internet shopping channel must normally be made by PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to complete your transaction- simply select the option to 'Pay as Guest' during the checkout process and you will be taken a checkout process to pay by credit/debit card. Please note that we are unable to accept American Express cards. Ownership of items bought remains with GLO Europe until payment is fully cleared from your card issuer. We reserve the right not to dispatch goods until the goods are fully paid. For some organisations, we will consider issuing an invoice. Please contact us directly for further details.
Website option - 'Pick Up At Store'
If you wish to collect the items you are ordering from the shop in Motherwell rather than incur the cost of having them posted to you, please use this 'tick-box' option in the check out process. Postage and packing will not be charged. Please indicate by separate email to us when you intend to collect the goods from the shop.
Website Option - 'Account'
This is for use by our customers who have opened an account with us - mainly church bookstalls etc. The normal arrangement is for the account holder to visit the shop and collect the order. If you are ordering items by this method, please state your shop account number and indicate when you will be coming to collect your order. Payment can be made with the order, on collection or by invoice if previously arranged. If you require the order to be sent to you, please select 'Standard' or 'Express' delivery instead.
All orders are sent the most economical method, normally Royal Mail Economy Service (formerly Second Class), unless you request otherwise. For larger orders (usually over 5kg), we will contact you to determine the best way to send the items to you, as we prefer to use use a courier company for these deliveries. Where Express or other special delivery options are requested, there may be an additional charge, In the event of someone not being available to accept delivery of items there may subsequently be a further charge for redelivery.
Please note that, on the Economy service, there is no insurance or compensation for items lost or damaged in the post. We would always try to replace items in the event of loss or damage but this cannot be guaranteed, especially where the items are of high value or going overseas. In these situations, we strongly recommend that we arrange a postage upgrade for you. Please contact us if you wish the items we are sending to you to be fully covered.
Post & packing charges will be worked out as you place your order, and may vary from time to time. Please be assured we always try to give our customers the very best service with good value for your money. Where we find that the website delivery costs exceed the actual cost of post and packing we will arrange to make a suitable refund.
Should we find that the website cost indicated is not deliverable, we will advise the customer a suitable revised cost and reach agreement with them where possible. If it isn't possible to reach agreement, we reserve the right to cancel the entire order and make a full refund.
Delivery outwith the United Kingdom
Deliveries outwith the UK will be sent with the appropriate UK Royal Mail CN22 customs label. Please note that any customs duties or additional postal service fees in the receiving country are the responsibility of the recipient. Delivery may be delayed until such time as these duties or fees are paid by the recipient. These charges are NOT included in the price you pay us and we advise our customers to check and confirm any such charges with their local postal/customs service to ensure they are comfortable with these charges before proceeding with the order. If you do not pay such postal/customs charges on receipt and the goods are disposed of by the receiving postal authorities, we do NOT issue a refund of the purchase price in such circumstances.
When sending overseas, the payment you make is for the Royal Mail Economy service. This is a new name for the Surface service. Where possible, we will upgrade you to the Express (Airmail) Tracked service at no extra charge. However, where this isn't possible within the charge made, we will contact you for your instructions.
We strongly recommend paying any additional premium suggested for the Express Tracked service as full compensation will be available on this service.
