GIRL OF TWO WORLDS PB

NOSIM comes from the wide plains of Southern Kenya where the Maasai people live. She is proud to be Maasai and she is proud to be the first member of her tribe to go to school. But Nosim doesn't realise that she will soon be living a double life. Can she follow the old ways of the Maasai tribe and be a modern-educated young woman? Can she still belong to her family and her people and also belong to the Jesus Christ she hears so much of at school? Nosim struggles to keep the old ways and the new ways....but what happens is that her whole life becomes a lie. Nosim's two worlds are in conflict. 'The old ways are best' 'Jesus Christ is the Son of God.' Who should she believe? What world does she belong to? Can she be a true member of the Maasai tribe as well as being a true follower of Jesus? AGES 7-13
