PURSUIT: WORK OF HOLY SPIRIT..EVANGELISM

Mike Mellor’s aim in this book is twofold: Firstly that we will be convinced that the Holy Spirit is the ‘Director’ of all evangelism and mission, enrolling, equipping and energising those who have been found and changed by him. Secondly, that each one of us might experience the thrill of being used by the Holy Spirit in this glorious pursuit as we reach out with the gospel—whether across the street or across the globe—knowing the Spirit’s power and presence that Jesus promised to those who go in his name.

Mike writes, ‘My prayer is that our hearts may be ignited with the holy flame which has burned intensely in the hearts of Christ-possessed men and women through the ages.’

Mike Mellor has been in ministry for over thirty years, pastoring churches in South Wales and Central London before serving as a staff evangelist for the Open Air Mission. Until his ‘retirement’ in 2015 he was pastor of Hope Church, Ferndown, Dorset. He is married to Gwen and has four married daughters and seven grandchildren. These days, he enjoys riding the roller coaster with AFC Bournemouth and is involved in itinerant preaching, evangelism and evangelism training.
